Embedded Software Developer (f/m)


  • Implementation of low level SW in C/C++
  • Configuration of the Linux operating system and its distributions (buildroot, yocto) for specific HW
  • Requirement specification on OS and HW based on application SW requirements (e.g. installation of specific libraries and drivers)
  • SW architecture and design
  • Testing and documentation of software components
  • Design of concepts and presentation of the results
  • Team work, cooperation with other project teams and suppliers


  • Degree in Information Technologies, Automotive Engineering, Control Engineering or related fields
  • Good working knowledge of the C and/or C++ language
  • Knowledge of Linux operating system for embedded applications
  • Knowledge of RTOS (e.g. FreeRTOS)
  • Working knowledge of debugging tools, such as gdb, valgrind, openocd
  • Experience with MCUs
  • Good spoken and written English and/or German language
  • Ability to travel
  • Enthusiasm for modern technologies and cars
  • Strong team and communication skills
  • Position is suitable for fresh graduates
  • Experience in the field of automotive electronics (control units, buses, communication protocols, diagnosis…) is advantageous
  • Knowledge of development standards according to (A)SPICE, MISRA, ISO26262, IEC61508 etc. is an advantage
