The responsibilities you can expect at this position:

  • Be in charge of accounting / tax area of selected business units within Ezpada Group,
  • Maintain GL, process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded in timely manner, supervize invoicing, timely AR / AP posting and settlement by treasury,
  • Perform reconciliations, internal controls over accounting and tax records,
  • Perform other control procedures regarding the data integrity between accounting records and core IS,
  • Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed,
  • Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines,
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly/ annual financial reports,
  • Assist financial managers in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings,
  • Prepare VAT / CIT and other tax returns, supervize their preparation by external tax advisors and custom brokers,
  • Assist with other accounting projects (process description, implementation of applications, reconciliation procedures within accounting and reporting area).

Desired qualification and technical requirements:

  • Minimum high school with focus on accouting or finance,
  • Upper intermediate knowledge of accounting supported with experience from at least one accounting position (min. 4 years),
  • Experience with data and document processing (invoicing, payment transfer, payment matching, GL maintenance), reconciliation procedures, internal control system in accounting area,
  • Upper intermediate knowledge of accounting policies and tax/custom agenda (VAT / Corporate taxes / custom declarations / statistics),
  •  Basic knowledge of ERP´s (preferably Navision or other information systems such as Oracle, Helios, ABRA or other),
  • Basic / intermediate level of of MS Office (MS Excel + MS Word), highly structured, technically oriented person with at least intermediate level in MS Office (MS Excel + MS Word),
  • Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen,
  • Ability to learn / understand financial reporting principles and processes,
  • Highly proactive approach and strong focus (1. critical success factor),
  • Highly structured, punctual and dilligent personality (2. critical success factor),
  • Desire to learn at fast pace, willingness to learn and do your homework when necessary (we are seeking young prodigies who wish to advance in their career and not settle with status quo),
  • Demonstrated ability of continuous improvement, process optimization, and intellectual curiosity,
  • Self-motivated for high performance,
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal,
