Accounts Receivable Manager

Main responsibilities

  • Manage multi-site accounts receivable functions including collections, cash application, credit and customer invoicing on behalf of multiple European entities.
  • Manage, develop and motivate Accounts Receivable team (Mid-sized).
  • Ensure services are delivered in line with corporate deadlines and quality requirements.
  • Preparation of KPIs in order to provide management and statutory data as well as tracking departmental progress and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Identify research and escalate invoicing and contract related issues that have a direct impact on the Credit Department.
  • Responsible for reporting and monitoring trends in payments or debits, as well as procedural problems to the client. Recommendations regarding the correction of these trends and/or problems should also be reported.
  • Review, develop and maintain the departmental policies and procedures in order to minimise credit risk to the company.
  • Monitor the credit worthiness of new and existing customers, liaising with the local sites to enforce payment terms and credit limits in accordance with set policies.
  • Perform checks to ensure compliance with SLAs and internal control requirements.
  • Closely cooperate with internal and external auditors and assure timely data provision as per their requirements.
  • Participate in the recruitment process (including staff training) and perform regular performance reviews.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma / University degree.
  • Advanced level of English (C1/C2 level); fluent Czech is must
  • Knowledge of other European language is an advantage.
  • Previous experience from the financial SSC environment and good knowledge of AR processes is a must.

Skills and Competencies

  • Very good knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office (especially MS Excel, MS Outlook) required.
  • Self-motivated, proactive individual capable of working as a member of a team, leading teams and operating independently.
  • Excellent presentation, organizational, analytical, and written/oral communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High level of integrity and the demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment.
