DEVTOOLS SUPPORT/ADMIN (JIRA/Confluence Analyst)

About position:

As part of a passionate and accomplished team of application administrators/analysts, you will provide application and business support for all the modules within the Atlassian suite. The application administrator/analyst works closely with business leads and various IT groups on daily basis and helps them to transform their ideas into functional solutions while maintaining team‘s standards, rules and best practices. You will also assist with the continued growth and innovation of our Software Collaboration Toolkit.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Become familiar with current setup/structure/configuration of current Atlassian suite implementation
  • Evaluate and manage the usage of Atlassian add-ons
  • Manage and optimize Jira workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes, etc.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their business and technical requirements
  • Help customers maximize the value of Atlassian software by proposing thoughtful implementation designs that meet customers' business and technical requirements
  • Coordinate support solutions and/or new process design with IT, business, and agile teams
  • Help customers adopt new software by proactively providing support and guidance on best practices
  • Training of relevant teams in usage of Atlassian suite
  • Help to maintain standardization of software collaboration solutions across our enterprise
  • Ensure we adhere to established IT policies and procedures
  • Create and maintain process documentation

We prefer candidates with:

  • Service oriented mindset with passion for identifying and serving needs of others
  • Experience with L1-L3 support preferred
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management) preferred
  • Understanding of the SDLC and project management methodologies preferred
  • Strong work ethic with good time management and the ability to work with diverse teams
  • Critical thinking, logical, clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in English (German a plus)
  • Strong ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to create technical documentation, manuals, presentations
  • Ideally have used Atlassian products and various add-ons (e.g. Jira Software, Confluence, Portfolio for JIRA
  • Structure, Scriptrunner, Automation for JIRA, TestFlo/Zephyr, Gliffy diagrams, Team Calendar, etc. ) – we can teach you if you do not know them
  • Ideally experience in analyzing and creating workflows for an agile environments
  • Linux and database hands-on experience a plus
  • Knowledge of Apache/Tomcat a plus
  • You might also be a junior with some basic knowledge and great enthusiasm to learn the tools
