Sales Engineer - Bohemia region

Description

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for the sales of Hexagon products within the North West region of the Czech Republic (Bohemia) in close cooperation with the Area Sales Manager and applications and service teams.

The Sales Engineer will report to the Sales Director for the region.

Main tasks

  • Responsible for new account development
  • Identify and grow opportunities within territory expanding existing accounts within region/product line
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and media
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products/ services
  • Successfully match customer requirements to proposed solutions
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
  • Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
  • Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers’ dedication
  • Remain in frequent contact with the clients in his/her responsibility to understand their needs
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming to customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputation
  • Create reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences

Requirements

  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in sales of technologies, technical devices and solutions
  • Good orientation in industry with focus on automotive, aerospace, plastics and general engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation and presentation creation skills
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
  • Excellent Time Management
  • Basic administration skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Proficiency in English
