The mission for a candidate is to provide on-site support for Prague office users, help to resolve complex user incidents received from our Service Desk partner and secure daily IT operations within the team responsibility.

We are aimed on high customer satisfaction achieved through perfection of provided services and understanding of business needs. Therefore, we expect a candidate to have strong pro-customer-oriented approach.

Job description

  • Handle all incidents and service requests coming into your support group queue, provide correct and prompt support to the end users.
  • To provide on-site support, resolve complex incidents, cooperate with Service Desk agents and other IT and non-IT support teams.
  • Provide operational services such as computer imaging, HW diagnostic and application support.
  • Maintain HW asset records (keep the asset management database updated - receive goods, assign HW, decommission, etc.).
  • Basic support for local infrastructure (servers, network, printers, facility related systems, etc.), identify issues, do tests, apply changes with support from infrastructure specialists.
  • Support Android and iOS mobile device users.
  • Ensure daily local operation processes are run successfully and act in case of incidents.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement as implementing standards with the overall target to increase efficiency.
  • Collaborate on local and global project delivery in Epiroc.
  • Document incident solutions, train users, prepare user guides.
  • Keep local documentation libraries up to date.

Experience requirements

3 years of experience as local and remote service desk IT support with frequent customer contacts or comparable skills gained through other roles.

Knowledge / Educational requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or similar through experience
  • ITIL (Foundation) Certification is an asset
  • General smartphone end user support (Android & iOS).
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows 10 platform.
  • Microsoft Office 2013/2016, Office 365 cloud services.
  • VMWare basic configuration and maintenance.
  • Windows Server basics (File and storage, print services, general administration).
  • Computer hardware support and diagnosis.
  • Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting.
  • Fluent English and Czech
