A family holding company that has established its regional headquarters in Czech Republic and is currently seeking to recruit a competent and experienced Operations Director

Managing/Operations Director


Day-to-day operation of regional office (Company)

● Coordinating Company’s providers and partners (accountants, lawyers, consultants, etc.) to
ensure lasting and fruitful relationship
● Controlling and managing Company’s administrative issues (office operation activities, IT, etc.)
● Assisting in development of the Company’s annual budgets, negotiating, approving them with
the Owner and ensuring their execution
● Overseeing the Company’s financial performance

Overseeing the operations of the existing assets

● Ensuring the operations of the existing assets as per the set annual objectives
● Overseeing all day-to-day operational issues
● Ensuring the required profitability (set by Owners) is achieved in the existing assets in Real
Estate, NED, Hospitality
● Taking part in developing and executing the annual objectives for the existing assets

People management

● Overseeing employees’ operation on a daily basis and ensuring that there is sufficient capacity
of human resources needed to achieve the objectives set by the owners
● Making sure that the Company’s policies and legal guidelines are communicated to all the
Company’s employees and followed at all times
● Together with the Owners, Project Managers (PMs) and HR Director setting annual KPIs for
the Company team and controlling their implementation
● Providing the Company team with the performance feedback as prescribed by Company’s
internal policies
● Overseeing and assisting with HR related issues: hiring, firing, on-boarding, promotions and
motivations, training and development, performance reviews, employee relations, office
discipline, annual vacation and absent days
● Maintaining corporate culture

Participating in the business development

● Helping to drive new business initiatives together with the PMs
● Presenting investment opportunities for the owner review and approval
● Assisting the PMs to review and execute potential opportunities

Requirements for the candidates

  • Min 10 years of proven experience as Managing/Operatons Director or other managerial position
  • Background in project management and/or business development is preferred
  • Past experience in one of the below listed areas is a must: renewable energy/energyindustry, and/or real estate, and/or hotel operation
  • Czech, English (proficient), preferred good-fluent German
  • Excellent familiarity with project management technique and softwares
  • Experience in using and understanding financial models
  • Ability to read, handle, understand and navigate in the legal and transactional documents
