Senior Business Analyst VFS

Key responsibilities/Accountabilities

· Responsible for the monthly preparation, review, and analysis of financial KPI reports

· Responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of targets and budgets. Conduct variance analysis of actuals against budgets / forecasts and develop action plans

· Ensure the adherence of uniform accounting practices, adequate internal controls, in accordance with the financial policies and procedures

· Perform financial analysis to enable and support continued business growth

· Financial modelling – pricing activities as well as loss simulations (reserve-models)

· Accurate and informed financial analysis and commentary on the financial results, financial forecasts and business plans

· Meets all business control datelines imposed by VFS HQ

· Develop action plans and activities to improve profitability and efficiency

· Support all departments and sales managers with ad-hoc projects

· Possesses a university degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics

 

Preferred experience and knowledge

· Possesses a university degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics

· Good knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management

· Good knowledge of accounting policies, procedures, and standards

 

Required Competences and Personal Skills

· Highly computer literate (Microsoft Office suite) and is familiar with various accounting and financial systems

· Excellent communication skills - written and verbally in English

· Ability to work independently and delivers on time

· Conscientious, integrity and team player qualities are essential
