STADA - a pharma company whose roots date back to 1895 in Dresden. Since the 1950s, the headquarters of the company has been in Bad Vilbel, Germany. The company went international in the 1980s and through further acquisitions and organic growth, it grew to one of the leading generics producers in the world. Predecessor of its Czech office, Aliud Pharma, was founded in 1997. In 2002, STADA entered Czech market originally and grew to about 10 percent of the generics market during the following period. As part of its global growth strategy, STADA decided to acquire Walmark from Mid Europa Partners and concluded the deal in March 2020. With the acquisition of Walmark, STADA significantly broadens its consumer healthcare portfolio. The acquisition did not only bring Walmark’s high-quality Třinec manufacturing site and the in-depth expertise of people from Walmark. Today ONE STADA means 350 colleagues all together.
