Controlling Specialist

Job purpose

The Controlling Specialist supports the Controlling manager, serves as the business partner, prepares reports for the need of management, prepares plans, has a basic understanding of financial principles, strong communication skills to help others to understand the “why‘s” behind reports prepared, participates in Transparency project (AIFP).

Accountabilities

  • Supports the Controlling Manager in terms of budget keeping, company performance monitoring, effective process mechanisms implementation.
  • Follows monthly closing activities scheduled, prepares budgets comparisons and comments the deviations of company performance.
  • Participates in preparation of monthly financial performance slide deck for leadership team and serves as the team member during regular monthly meetings organized with business partners.
  • Participates in co-ordination of activities related to budget planning processes by establishing schedules, collecting, analyzing and consolidating financial data.
  • Prepares customized reports for the different business partners by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends based on her/his deep understanding of the company`s business.
  • Prepares Ad-hoc analyses for company management and cooperates on finance/compliance-related tasks or projects.
  • Actively participates in training programs to business to increase understanding and compliance with financial requirements and policies.
  • Actively participates in projects to simplify and automate processes (especially in the area of rolling forecast, net sales dashboards etc.).
  • Participates in the project of Transparency disclosure (AIFP regulation). Support the controlling team to meet the EFPIA/AIFP requirements for pharmaceutical companies to healthcare professionals and healthcare organizations.
  • Supports Finance team to deliver on audit requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimal University education
  • Fluent Czech and English – written and spoken
  • Min. 3 years’ experience in relevant field
  • Excellent with numbers
  • Pharma industry experience is advantage
  • Planning and analytical skills
  • MS Excel advance user
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Flexibility
