Internal IT Analyst for EMEA

REED is seeking a candidate who has communicative skills in Czech and English and is looking for a new challenge in the IT field. This is an internal position, it will be very much a hands on job and will require travelling to different sites within EMEA.


· Ensure day to day end-user support for to EMEA users both on premise and remote (travelling)

· Oversee the installation/Configuration/Management/Maintenance of the local Client infrastructure: desktops, laptops, servers

· Co-ordination with the other teams, like Network Services, Service Desk, Regional teams and Security in US and Globally to ensure that standards and service levels are applied correctly

· Provide local Telephone and Area Network infrastructure support in collaboration with the Network Services team

· Ensure that the ITSC ticketing tool is used for ALL incidents

· Maximize Site Services service availability by providing timely and effective technical management of the network infrastructure

· Provides functional and cost-effective Site Service services and support


· Minimum of 2 years experience of working in Service Desk / Helpdesk / Technical support

· Spoken and written business English + Czech is required

· Experience from multinational company is an advantage

· Experience of handling complex situations and escalations is welcome

· Knowledge of ITIL frame works for Service Delivery and service support processes (Certification is preferred)

· Experience with various systems (Windows, Apple, Linux and mobile devices) and Servers (Windows 2012 / 2016)

· Active Directory management, Office 365 experience

· File and Print management (file sharing, file permissions, setup printers, …) experience is preferred

· Knowledge of common backup products (e.g. Symantec/VERITAS, Commvault, TSM), DNS, DHCP, WINS, Outlook (all versions), VPN, Office package, SAP client, SharePoint

· Strong communication skills

· Availability to travel approx. 10% + Driving license B, active driver
