Accounts Payable Supervisor

REED is seeking a candidate looking for a brand new challenge. · Manage/coordinate AP processes in a team of about 8-10 people

· Review and coordinate month-end closings to ensure accurate reporting

· Become the central communication point for the team and associated stakeholders

· Prepare reports and supporting documentation for the management

· Act as a Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) for AP

· Manage SOX and provide support for audits

· Act as a of escalation for local finance teams and deal with any issue/query escalations

· Manage and report Key performance indicators (KPIs)

· Engage in process improvement initiatives, set goals, monitor progress thereof and complete the annual appraisals

· Willingness to work a flexible schedule if required

· Maintain relationship with external vendors and internal customers


· Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts payable

· English minimum B2 + fluent knowledge of Czech

· Degree or diploma in finance/accounting and applicable knowledge

· Understanding of Czech accounting procedures

· End to end Procure to pay process knowledge

· Experience in management of a small team is an advantage

· Experience with SAP/Oracle (ideally both)

· Attention to detail and accuracy

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Being able to work independently, take decisions, act rationally

· Team player
