About the team:

We’re an international team of accounting experts within the global PwC network, helping our clients to solve complex IFRS accounting issues. We’re a team of 30-40 colleagues from a number of countries within the Central and Eastern Europe region, our clients are the biggest companies in the region across all industries.

About your manager:

Lucie Dolejs has been part of PwC for almost 8 years. She spent 3 of those years in the PwC UK London office in Management consulting team working in Treasury, Trading, Risk and Regulatory projects. She has worked her way up from senior consultant to senior manager and is an expert in FS treasury and finance change management projects. Prior joining PwC, Lucie worked in Citi for 5 years. Lucie currently leads the Treasury team which consists of 25 team members.

Job description & summary:

Working within PwC‘ Treasury team, you will be responsible for providing treasury audit support services and treasury advisory services to our clients. You will be working with a diverse range of domestic and international clients and supporting the local and international audit teams mainly in treasury expert areas including IFRS, hedge accounting, debt, derivatives, and other financial instruments including valuation, documentation or disclosure. You will be also working in other topics related to treasury advisory services.

These responsibilities will include for example:

• Management of treasury audit expert support, leading a team delivering treasury audit expert support both local and international.
• Leading any IFRS projects related to treasury areas.
• Managing Valuation of vanilla and complex derivatives and debt instruments.
• Managing Hedge accounting implementation, including set up of the testing models and hedge documentations.
• Leading advisory projects in treasury areas – financial risks, cash management, treasury management systems.

Requirements of the role:

• 4-7 years of practical experience in the area of corporate treasury, financial instruments and/or hedge accounting, financial risk management or similar field.
• Consultative nature, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and decision-making Skills.
• Ability to learn quickly, be self-motivated, demonstrate initiative, and adapt in a dynamic Environment.
• Czech and English language skills (written and spoken) at a professional level.
