About the team

Working within the PwC Accounting advisory and treasury team, you will be involved mainly in providing accounting advisory services to a diverse range of domestic and international clients. We are looking for an expert on IFRS to join this team on a senior associate level.

Job description & summary

Support clients and audit teams in IFRS related matters
Review and evaluate from the technical perspective and especially in terms of completeness, consistency and accuracy the Separate and Consolidated Financial Statements prepared in accordance with IFRS
Co-operate with a regional team specialising in working with IFRS
Provide expert support in the area of accounting advisory - review deliverables and provide advice to clients from the technical perspective

Requirement of the role

• More than 2 years of experience from an international audit firm with significant experience of auditing of IFRS financial statements
• 1 to 2 years experience working on a "technical desk" is an advantage
• Experience in the preparation of the Consolidated financial statements or consolidation of group of undertakings
• Experience of working with IFRS; a general overview of the types of transaction solved in the individual standards
• Authoring/co-authoring articles, publications and translations with accountancy themes is an advantage
• Active use of English and Czech/Slovak language
