Controls senior consultant

Working within PricewaterhouseCoopers' Risk Assurance group, you will be responsible for providing internal controls assessments, internal process assessments, internal audit services, risk-based internal auditing and risk management services to a diverse range of domestic and international clients.

Specialists work in teams to perform independent assessments and internal audits of clients’ financial, operational and IT processes. Teams conduct engagements for clients in various areas:

Internal process and control assessments and reviews,
Supporting Sarbanes-Oxley 404 certification process,
Operational auditing (involving analyzing and solving critical business issues and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of business operations)
Reviews of IT processes and controls
Assisting clients in improving their internal processes and controls

The candidate will be responsible for leading engagement team in the field, communicating progress of engagements to the engagement manager, drafting reports, communicating with the clients

Our requirements

At least Bachelor’s Degree
Czech and English language skills (written and spoken) at a professional level
Consultative nature, strong analytical and problem solving skills, and decision making skills
Experience with planning, delivery and reporting of audits or assessments of internal business or IT controls
Minimum 2 years of experience either in an Internal Audit function or a consulting/audit firm
Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
Ability to learn quickly, be self-motivated, demonstrate initiative, and adapt in a dynamic environment
Willingness to travel
Technical knowledge of IT security is an advantage
