Four Seasons Hotel Prague is looking for a talented Accounts Receivable to join our diverse Finance team.

About You and the Job

You will be responsible for assisting the Credit Manager in maintaining proper credit procedures throughout the hotel in accordance with both local and Four Seasons Hotels policies and procedures.

You will be ideally a talent who demonstrates the commitment to supportive teamwork and open communication. About the Responsibilities and Duties

  • Process and post all charges and payments to City Ledger Accounts daily.
  • Ensure prompt and accurate billing for all accounts and timely collection follow-up.
  • Print, prepare and mail statements for outstanding C/L accounts.
  • Assist the Assistant Director of Finance to investigate fully all requests for billing and function as final authority over credit approval.
  • Review with the Assistant Director of Finance all accounts which are over 30 days and implement collection procedures for all such accounts in accordance with established corporate guidelines.
  • Participate and/or conduct the monthly credit meetings.
  • Answer guest and credit card inquiries concerning accounts including the documentation and preparation of adjustments, if necessary, on a timely basis.
  • Process credit card payment allocations and reconcile the outstanding balances on daily basis.
  • Prepare month-end reports and reconciliations as prescribed by policies and procedures for all receivable accounts.
  • Ensure prompt and accurate billing for all accounts and timely collection follow-up.

Qualifications in detail

  • High School/College education or equivalent experience.
  • Require a working technical knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and Four Seasons Internal Controls, Policies and Procedures as they relate to Credit and Accounts Receivable. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job or through a series of professional certifications.
  • Require knowledge of and the ability to operate computer equipment, Microsoft Office Suite software, Opera and F&B POS systems.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.

What to Expect

This position is offered for a define period of time of 12 months with a possible unlimited extend based on your performance. Your trial period will be 3 months. Feedback is a key; therefore, you will be asked to give your feedback on regular basis and you will also have an informal chat with your 1 up manager and mentor.
