Expense Reporting & Control Trainee



  1. To ensure invoices, purchase orders, credit notes etc. are effectively processed through the CoBa systems architecture with any delivery mismatches dealt with quickly.
  2. Support month/year end closing (cost centre master data management, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, cost allocations)
  3. To provide analytical expense reports to cost centre managers based in London and Frankfurt
  4. To ensure that all expense related queries are responded to promptly
  5. To ensure that there is up-to-date process documentation & control evidence is maintained
  6. To own the Travel & Entertainment processes for the EE & WE branches including:
  • approvals comply with internal policies, expense related system controls
  • efficient reimbursement of claims
  • documentation is compliant with internal policies
  • system implementation projects



  • University Degree in accounting or finance, in the early stages of studying towards further professional accounting qualifications CIMA, ACCA, ACA is a plus
  • A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in a professional office
  • Fluent English, excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Capable in usage of MS Office applications
  • Working knowledge of SAP advantageous
  • Team player, methodical, accurate and detail-conscious with a problem-solving attitude
  • Independent worker with a high level of personal responsibility, strong communication skills
