What is it all about?

As a Functional Analyst / Designer in our team, you will be working on a number of projects worldwide bringing our solution to the market in the banking and payments area as a product customized and implemented on client-side. Your role will require communication and interaction with client representatives, internal business experts, close cooperation with developers as well as testers to ensure that requirements are well understood, the right solution is designed and delivered to the clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Getting familiar with the payment processing business domain
  • Learn respective technical industry standards used in various countries and markets
  • Gathering and assessment of customer requirements
  • Compose/update functional specification
  • Design of functional and integration changes/extensions
  • Organize and lead meetings both external and internal
  • Cooperation with colleagues working on the other parts of the project lifecycle (e.g. development, testing)
  • Direct communication with customers
  • Continuous experience and responsibility growth

Our requirements

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with application architecture, integration patterns
  • Experience with the analysis and design, ideally in the banking/financial sector
  • Knowledge of UML Modeling
  • Experience with delivery projects on the Vendor side
  • SQL – understanding the code, ability to write SQL queries
  • Specific experience in the area of payment processing including respective industry standards (SWIFT, SEPA, ISO20022,..)
  • Very good communication skills in English, both verbal and written

What is nice to have

  • previous working experience with Java EE, Oracle
  • experience with Enterprise Architect tool
  • project deliveries in an international context
