SAP Authorizations Consultant

What is it all about?

As a SAP consultant focused on SAP Security and Authorizations area you will be working independently on several initiatives within our business. Your role will require you to be able to cooperate and communicate directly and efficiently with your internal colleagues as well as our internal and external clients. You will became a part of the team, which is well known by its ability to cooperate and share the knowledge internally as well as globally across CGI.

What will you do?

  • Resolution of more complex requirements related to SAP security role administration and implementation
  • Analysis of user’s authorizations, related development and testing (authorization configuration, profile generation, etc.)
  • Troubleshooting and resolution of SAP security and SAP authorizations related issues
  • Change Request Form documentation creation on base analysis and requirements
  • Single and composite roles export and import, roles mapping using UME of Java AS systems
  • Creation of processes, transport requests and related maintenance using ChaRM functionality
  • Role live cycle administration in SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance solutions (SAP GRC solutions)
  • Synchronizing of roles in backend and GRC system and CUA administration management
  • Support of less senior SAP Basis / NetWeaver colleagues
  • Completion of technical procedures and guidelines
  • Direct communication with clients

What do you need to know?

  • At least 3 years of professional experience with SAP Authorization Management
  • At least 2 years of proven experience with remote system support in a global environment
  • Very good overall orientation in IT infrastructure administration (OS, databases, servers, networks)
  • Experience with the administration of any of the following technology platforms
  • (Linux, AIX, Windows OS, Oracle, MSSQL, ASE, SAP HANA db) are an added value
  • Ability to understand and maintain defined working standards and related processes
  • Very good communication skills in English, fluent Czech/Slovak language
