Product Specialist

Your main tasks / responsibilities / authorities:

• Researching, developing and implementing product knowledge (Ammann vs. Competition) to increase revenue (volumes & margins)
• Work closely with Regional Commercial Managers and Sales Teams, and support them
• Collect & review reports, analyze markets, and determine a course of action for given product line
• Create a product vision & generate new ideas how to improve current/future products and/or services; size various opportunities to transform the vision into profits and business growth
• Assimilate compaction industry, customer trends and competitive intelligence to contribute to definition of future new product/service development strategy
• Deliver selling argumentation
• Support or conduct Regional Voice-of-Customer reviews & Product Trainings
• Link Market with Factories with necessary proximity to both

• Ability to develop sales arguments in prioritized and structured way
• Strong communication, sales & presentation skills and an ability to interact with people on all levels
• Positive thinking and acting
• Understand Product Portfolio, Segmentation and Competition
• Ability to work unsupervised in a logical, analytical and structural manner
• Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
• Technical understanding of construction machinery or similar
• Must be team oriented and results focused
• Will to travel (25% of working time) and learn new things
• Languages: English (fluent), other languages are welcomed
